This Privacy Policy describes how the Loudest Alarm Clock Ever mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use it. The App is provided by Dane Morgan as an independent developer.

Summary

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us. All alarm data stays on your device. The only third-party service we use is Google Play Billing, which Google operates to process in-app purchases.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information directly. The App functions entirely on your device. Specifically:

• We do not require you to create an account.
• We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location.
• We do not use any analytics, tracking, or telemetry services.
• We do not display advertising and do not use any advertising networks.
• We do not collect crash reports or diagnostic data.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Alarms you create (time, label, repeat days, sound choice, dismiss challenge type).
• Your app preferences (theme, default snooze duration, default lock duration).
• Optional sleep statistics (alarm fire times, snooze counts) used by the Pro stats screen.
• Your Pro purchase status (cached locally for offline access).
• Custom sound files you have imported (stored in the App's private storage).

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the App removes all of this data.

In-App Purchases

The App offers a one-time Pro upgrade purchase processed through Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase:

• Google handles all payment processing. We do not see, store, or have access to your payment card details.
• Your Pro purchase status is linked to your Google account by Google, so your purchase is preserved if you reinstall the App or change devices.
• Google Play's own privacy policy governs how Google handles your purchase information. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Permissions Used by the App

The App requests the following Android permissions, all required for alarm functionality:

• Schedule Exact Alarm / Use Exact Alarm: to ensure alarms fire at the correct time.
• Receive Boot Completed: to reschedule your alarms after you restart your phone.
• Wake Lock / Turn Screen On / Disable Keyguard: to wake the device and display the alarm screen when an alarm fires.
• Use Full Screen Intent: to display the alarm over the lock screen.
• Post Notifications: to show the foreground service notification while an alarm is active.
• Foreground Service / Foreground Service Media Playback: to keep the alarm running reliably while it is firing.
• Vibrate / Modify Audio Settings: to play the alarm sound at maximum volume and provide haptic feedback.
• Request Ignore Battery Optimizations: to prevent the operating system from delaying or cancelling alarms.
• Billing: to process the Pro upgrade in-app purchase via Google Play.

None of these permissions are used to collect or transmit personal data.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used by the App is Google Play Billing, used solely to process in-app purchases. We do not use any other third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, please contact us using the email below.

Data Security

Because all data stays on your device, the security of that data is managed by your device's own security features. The App does not transmit data over the internet except for the Google Play Billing flow, which is encrypted and managed by Google.

Your Rights

Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on your behalf. To remove all data the App stores on your device, simply uninstall the App. To manage your purchase history, use the Google Play Store app on your device.

If we update this Privacy Policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reflected in app updates where appropriate.
